BBBS currently consists of four Committees.
Their core objectives are as follows:
1. Fund Development & Events Committee
To increase the levels of financial contributions to and sponsorship of the organization. To increase participation at the many events held to support relationships.
2. Finance Committee
To prepare the annual budget, review control procedures, identify opportunities to be more fiscally responsible, and ensure the timely preparation of Audited Financial Statements.
3. Scholarship Committee
To develop a funding needs projection, establish application and selection guidelines for the scholarship, and select and award scholarships.
4. Governance
To help the Board (a) oversee the composition and effectiveness of the Board and its committees, (b) identify director nominees to recommend to the members and (c) help the Board oversee the human Resource, compensation and benefit policies of BBBS.
